I have been very pleased with my AEM. I do know that some other devices (the PLX setup among them) make it easier to datalog, but last I checked, the AEM setup does have some 5v outputs, so you can send it to the DataQ.

Out in front!
I've had an AEM for years . The readings are a little off with DIY wb so an external logger may be needed. But over all good unit .

I like my VDO gauges, but I've heard good things about AutoMeter as well.

And call me biased, but I equate AEM with the rice aisle at the parts store.

F* it. There's a $60 rebate on the AutoMeter.

id recommend inovate lc-1 its cheaper then anyone elses not to mention a ton more features can even put it in the stock o2 sensor hole and make it read one output as a stock narrow band and the other output as a wideband.
not to mention its i guess the fastest wideband on the market.

i got it and love it, great wideband and for the money cant beat it.
on ebay to give you a idea a whole setup can be had for $140 and the replacement sensor is like $50 or so

AEM gauges aren't more rice than any other gauges out there. I was really happy with mine, came with a white background or a black background for the gauge, and a silver outer cover or a black outer cover. I wish the rest of my other gauges had a black outter lip then I would have gone black/black on it, but went silver/white to match the rest.

From what ive heard, the AEM sensors go out alot more than any other brand. I dont like the lc1 because its not a gauge. Also, you can match the autometer to the rest of your gauges in the pillar.
