I purchased two rear SHO letter kits and rec. them today.

I was quite suprised to see the long tabs on the back side. I guess maybe a drim'el tool ?

How do you keep the letter spaced correctly? Any tricks out there?

I am concerned it might look like my mail box numbers. (just an OK job)

I have seen people you tape for a linear guide line but nobody had said anything about space.

thanks for any help

I used my finger to keep the space of the letters even. It may not be the correct spacing but it worked.

Well i was able to dremel the post off today.

I accidently lost it on the back side and sliced the front letter H. (F#$()

I took some touch up paint and lightly went over the sliced edge. It looks almost new , really nobody will notice unless they are on there knees.

Tommorow i hope to try and put the letters on.

What type of glue has been used on the dremeled areas?

Cheers.

I didnt use any glue on mine. I actually used wire cutters to cut the tabs off my letters. After that I just applied them to my car. I didnt use any glue where the tabs were. I havent had any problems with them in 2 years. They have been on my doors since.

I am suprised you used wire cutter on the post.

My maint goals was to smooth out the back side.

Some of the sticker area was hit while smoothing out the cut off post.

I'll check out Pep boys and see what type of glue they have for painted surfaces.

It might work well without anything like you stated.

thanks
