Adding remote keyless entry

I have a 1990 SHO with the keyless entry system on the drivers door and the module in the truck. Did this option also include remote keyless entry in 1990? If it did not how hard would it be to make it factory remote keyless entry(I do not want aftermarket remote start or an aftermarket alarm system) and are all the wires to hook it up there or what wires should I look for?

BTW for anyone who reads: Yes I have done a search and everytime this topic is mention before there is an answer in the post someone changes the subject to aftermarket keyless entry equipment which I dont want. I would really appreciate any help anyone can provide as I have spent hours looking for an answer on this board.

Check your module, is there an antenna lead plugged into it?

If so, all you need to do is buy remotes and program them. If not, you'll need to get an RKE module -- they usually are on eBay in the $10-$20 range.
