I made a discovery today and thought I would share for the searchers out there. In short adding stock keyless entry to cars that did not come with it would be a MAJOR undertaking and probably not worth it. "Why?" you ask.
In addition to adding the wiring from the box in the trunk you would also have to change the wiring in the two front doors and possibly the backs too. I changed a door on a keyless car with a door from a non-keyless car and had to change the wiring harness in the door (front passenger). When I pulled the harness out it had a different part number. The donor car was a 93 ATX and the receiptient was a 93 ATX. Also when doing I managed to fry the RKE box in the trunk...
