I was inside after coming home from work. Was talking to the wife. Then she was leaving to go shopping in her car and noticed that my windows where down. Top was popped up. She asked if I knew and how come. I said I had no idea, that when I cam home the air was on in the car and the windows up. Was really puzzled. I thought for a bit and then realized that while the remote was in my pocket I must have leaned against something to do it.

So with car locked up.
click unlock once (unlocks front drivers door)
Click twice (unlocks all other doors).
But if you click the second time and hold a few seconds and release? the front windows roll down and the top pops up all automatically.

NICE! Just wanted to share.

PS. no comments about if I would have just read the manual..... BLA BLA BLA. Just let me enjoy this little tidbit of enjoyment.

An older BMW I had did this and that is why I thought just maybe.....

Okay, no comment about if you had read the manual. But, if you had read the forum, you would have seen other people also didn't read the manual and asked/commented about this feature as well a few other times. :p

Welcome FFS, glad to see you're having fun exploring and discovering all there is on the new SHO. She's loaded with neat features.

All you need to know is right here for the reading but post up if you can't find something and we'll help out.

...........but don't forget the owners manual -- It's loaded with info too.:p

If you hold the unlock button on the first push it will also lower the windows and pop the roof. No need for twice unless you want all of the doors unlocked.

I liked that feature as well - was nice to walk up to the car and do that when it was warm out. Try to air out the car some before I got in.

Only down side - it wouldn't roll up the windows and close the roof. That would be very handy to have when it starts to rain and the windows are down - save running outside getting drenched :) (yes, I'm probably lazy)

Yes that would be. In the past some of my other cars had that option.

It might be a liability problem as to why they dont.

owner's ma****.......... oh never mind that either.:nut:

You know it's probably more fun discovering all these neat things bit by bit, instead of ruining the surprise by reading all about it.

BTW, you'll love the memory buttons on the D/seat.

Have fun.

That feature is called the global window feature and is capable on all the SHO's. Unfortunately its programmed into the ecu wether it will work or not.

Mustangs are the exact same way. My 05 GT had the feature enabled but others do not. I dont know the reasoning behind why ford only turns in on in some cars. My SHO doesnt have it on.

I believe this is an owner option (at least on the SHO) to be turned on or off and can be done easily (and for free) by the dealer with a special scan/control ECM/BCM tool.

Whoever doesn't have that functioning was probably due to owner choice, or somehow inadvertently being turned off.

The dealer will help.
