I've been looking at a bunch of 2010-2011 SHOs online and trying to make my list of which ones we want to look at. They're all a pretty good drive away, unfortunately. One feature I'm not sure about is the adaptive cruise. It's my understanding that it works on radar. I have a Valentine1 I absolutely can't live without, so I was wondering if anyone here has noticed any falsing or other problems with radar detectors and the ACC when it's turned on. I'm just wondering if ACC is one of those must have features because it seems about half the ones on my short list don't have it.

The detectors I can't comment on. I don't use them, but the ACC I have is, IMHO, a must have. -- an excellent feature that works very well.

I would strongly suggest that you get it.

I have a V1. And while I don't have an SHO, I've been in a caravan with SHODWN and been in close proximity. I've never had any falses around him...

I don't have adaptive cruise either, I just wanted to chime in on how awesome the V1 is. Once you have the arrows you can't live without them. However I believe there is a thread on here talking about this. I will do a quick search and see if i can find something.

They talk about BLIS and there is mention of adaptive cruise as well. I drive by cars all the time that have radar and I can't remember getting any false readings. If there are, then it's either x or k band and it's extremely rare for a cop to use either in Michigan. 99% of the time it's KA or Laser.
