I Have a 1993 SHO ATX and I am having a problem with my brakes on my front right wheel. My ABS idiot light has been coming off and on within the past week but my brakes are making a weird grinding noise even when the brakes are not applied and it feels like the brake on that side is getting stuck but the noise it is making is annoying and I was wondering if anyone here has experienced this same problem and if anyone knows what is going on so I can get this fixed ASAP.

Have you checked the rotor on that wheel? Are your brakes dragging? Do you have any pads left?

I would say the ABS sensor is going out on that wheel if the light is coming on. It could be going out b/c something is going on there (no brakes &/or brakes are dragging).

Take a better look at it and report back. :thumb:

Okay, here's your problem.....I think......I've been down that road with my 92 sho......your wheel speed sensors are going bad, and the ABS is try work on your right side. I know the exact grinding you're talking about,it's all to familiar to me! You can get a new wheel speed sensor, but they're pretty expensive. I had 3 of mine go out at the same time so I just disconected my ABS module after a recommendation from sombody here on the forum. Truth is that it's a poor ABS set up anyway. I actually like the feel of the brakes better now! Hope that helps somewhat?? :thumb:
