ABS DTC 22= open or short circuit- LH Front Inlet Valve, wire harness

Measure resistance between breakout box pins 3 and 20.
Is resistance between 5 and 8 ohms?
YES -- Go to BB4. See: BB4 - Check Circuit 495
NO -- Go to BB3. See: BB3 - Check LH Front Inlet Valve

BB4-- Disconnect valve block connector from wire harness.
Check for continuity between breakout box pins 20 and 60.
Is continuity present?
YES -- Service circuit 495 (T).
NO -- Reverify DTC 22.
NOTE: If other DTCs are output, service next DTC

BB3-- Disconnect brake pressure control valve block 16-pin connector.

Measure resistance between pins 14 and 1.
Is resistance between five and eight ohms?
YES -- Go to BB4. See: BB4 - Check Circuit 495
NO -- Replace brake pressure control valve block.

hope this helps, if you have any q's, just ask

.....two years later......

Hey Matt, remember me, :)

Anyway, I got the same code even though the light never comes on once the car's initial start up bulb check happens. I also got codes 44, 43, and 63. My car has had the pedal going to floor at random and then working perfectly the rest of the time. My questions to you are did you have any stopping issues when the light came on, and how much did this part cost, and do you guys sell it at SHOsource?

Thanks!

and another year and a half further down the road. Matt didja have a shop do the pump R&R or did you do it yourself. How much did you pay/curse?

I'm looking at a pump job to fix my ABS...

I did end up replacing the pump myself with a unit from Mike at SHO Source. It fixed the problem. The only issues I had were lining up the brake lines. I had to first hold the unit to get the lines to line up and then mounted it.

You also need an ABS bleeder.
