If only it worked that way... Unless you have a Quaife and/or a gearset, a WORKING transmission isn't going to add any value. Even if your transmission did contain the above, you'd have to find someone who was actually wanting those parts to even consider that as added value.

Odd... my MTX doesn't weep any fluid after I reassembled it.

That said, the anaerobic sealant will look like ATF, and it will ooze out from between the halves during assembly.

I work 40 hours a week and get paid more than you. I'll take not having a car payment for awhile... or having to pay for full coverage on a financed vehicle, and as a 22 year old I'd have better rates than you.

This. I'm in the exact same boat. I'm 22 years old and work 40hrs/week with pretty good pay, and I won't even consider getting into a car payment.

Zach, you claim you want to get out of it because it costs you so much... then why the **** would you want to get something else that you have to make payments on?? That makes no sense.

The SHO is payed off. You'll never be able to sell it for what you have into it (even if you were to part it out), and it's probably not far from being a reliable runner based on all the new parts you say you've thrown at it. Just fix the damn thing and enjoy it.

If you planning 'having fun' in the WRX, be warned that 2nd gear will likely resemble what many boosted SHO's 3rd eventually makes it to.

Zach,If you can not plot out your life with great accuracy for 5 years or whatever the term of you loan may be I recommend staying out of debt.
Things change in drastic fashion durring your late teen early 20's.

An Eclipse GSX? your jumping from one frying pan to another on that one.

I'm curious about the app you were talking about for the WRX. Is it like an iPhone app?

I got it... I got that you have no idea what you're getting yourself into. I also get that your inability to coherently type an understandable post makes it very difficult to read.

And you're complaining about the costs of doing maintenance on a SHO?

Wake up man.

No ****.

Honestly, you need a basic commuter car. Buy a Civic and try not to rice it out.
