My question is...does anyone know the exact way
the A.T.C temp sensor functions? It is located in the metal coolant tube that runs between the hose off the heater core and the block? By function I mean is it normally closed or open when cold or hot? and which position (closed or open)tells the A.T.C. system to allow the blower motor to work?
My problem stems form the tube being rotted and
leaking and worst of all it is now obsolete from Ford. I'm hoping to just use rubber hose to replace it for now untill I can search for a new tube somewhere in the country, unless someone out there knows where I can get this tube. I think this is the correct part # E9DZ-18B402-A. frown
