I bought them from www.Jegs.com as they had the cheapest prices. The gauges are Volts and Oil PRESSURE. Each guages was around 50-60 bucks. They were a little more money because they are the Lunar Series idiglo to match the other whiteface indiglo gauges. thumbs_u

Can you get a shot of them at night so we can see them in conjunction with the revers glow gauges?

Question to Greg: For your A-pillar pods, did you get it through Jeg's as well, and if so, which part #?

No problem. Here is the pic of the gauges at night. My digital camera has a tough time at night time in distinguishing. The color of the greens in the A-Pillar and the reverse indiglo gauges are almost exactly the same, despite what the camera portrays. I also have the A-pillar lighting control hooked up to a separate potentiometer so I can control the brightness from full bright to off of the a=pillar gauges independently from the reverse indiglo whitefaces.

Yup, Jegs all the way! The part number for the pod used is 105-10120. It's described for a 1994-02 Mustang (Hardtop), but this is the one that fits our cars with just minor trimming of the pod. The pod retails at Jeg's for $24.99. beer

Gotta a question for ya. Did you specify the color you wanted or is there only one color? In the pictures it looks like your interior is gray. Mine's gray too and I was just wondering if you had to specify a certain color. I found the pod on jegs.com but did not see anything about the color anywhere. Thanks, Mike.

Whatand how do you hook up to for the oil pressure?
The oil pressure gauge is electric and therefore alot easier and more reliable as compared to running an oil line into the car. You will need to install the electric oil pressure sensor into the block. So, The oil pressure sender is right at the front of the engine and is real easy to access...beleive it or not seeing how nothing is easy on SHO : ) You will need a 27mm deepwell socket to remove the oil pressure sender from the block. Then, go to home depot and buy some BRASS piping. You will need, i think, its a 1/4" diameter....but you'll be able to make sure. Buy a t-fitting and also a 1 1/4" extension. You will need an extension from the block as the two senders won't fit with just the t-fitting. Then, reinstall into the car the new oil pressure sender and the old one for the idiot light into the T-fitting...This part is a little bit tricky but there is nothing too tough about it.

Where did you get the replacement gauges? Look really good too.
You can find them on eBay under "Taurus SHO" They are 32.95 from ProCarParts who sells them on ebay.

They come black and they are ready to be painted. It may just be the picture, but my interior is tan! You can get the paint code off your door for your interior and my local Carquest mixed me up a can of paint for my interior and but it in a spray can for me. I did a two coat system with doing a normal interior tan color and then sprayed the matching ford color over the generic tan color...that just was for allowing the matching paint to stick better as it was pretty thin. Good luck

Two questions, has anyone figured out how to replace the factory tape or CD player with an aftermarket unit without compromising the climate control.

The second being that I just blew my torque converter at 58,000 miles-- is this a common problem?

I ordered an interface that allows you to hook up a Kenwood changer to the factory system. I paid way too much for it (~$200) and I've been waiting almost 2 months now. I ordered it from Soundgate. There's another company that makes a similar product. It's called PIE (Peripheral Interface Electronics?). I'd try them if I were to do it again.

About the torque convertor, it's probably a worn out brass bushing. I was having issues last summer and I thought I was in for a rebuild but I got it repaired for less than $500. I was getting a P1744 (IIRC). The code in english was Torque Convertor Clutch Solenoid Performance. It's a common problem so it could be the problem.
