My car is in the shop right now and they are trying to diagnose what the problems are with it. So far they have gotten codes for a 1st and 3rd gear ratio error. Anyone know if this is likely a wiring problem or something internal? On top of that there is still the issue with it not starting. When this occurs there is no spark, but if the car is left alone for a while it will start right up like nothing is wrong. Most of the sensors have been checked for voltage and nothing seems to be wrong with at least, the tss, the vss and the tps.
I obviously have no control over how they check things out, but I was just wondering if anyone had any clues as to what might be causing these issues, and if somehow they might be related. I do know this is something out of my range of expertise and I am glad I don't have to try and deal with this headache myself.
