ok so i got the car in November and it got the cams welded (took a month...) i have been driving it around since switching between it and my Sable. I have noticed and a couple issues though that i would like some insight on, i have searched a bit on here and have not had a chance to do any testing yet (too cold outside!! Brrr!!)
First issue is the Trans code it is a P1744 for the TCC Solenoid Circuit Performance, the TCC does lock but you can tell it slips. I am bringing it into the shop here in a few weeks and keeping it off the highway until then. I am curious what you guys think of this code? I have read a lot of different things that it could be... I will get a warranty on any work I have done so i am not too worried about them getting it right the first time but don't want the car in the shop for a month again.
Second issue I have noticed mostly when colder outside and only on cold start-up, the lighting for the radio and EATC flickers. I have not had an opportunity to see if anything else flickers or not. It only dos it for about 30 seconds to a minute and then all is fine. I did notice there are a few "chunks" missing from the positive battery terminal not sure how that one happened... I am going to check all my connections next chance I get but wanted to see if you guys had any input on this?
