I'll have to look and see what the refrigerant capacity is. It looks like all of yours is gone and no telling if you need to fix the leak and pull vacuum on it to make sure there isn't too much moisture in the system then refill. That's assuming other parts are good.

I have used the stop-leak stuff in the a/c systems without any problems, but imho it is one of those things that you can only do once - if you put a can of refrigerant in with the stop-leak stuff and it still leaks down, you must replace the o-rings or hoses that are bad, because if you keep putting stop-leak in there, eventually it will gum things up and you will need to replace the whole system.

I am going to have him check the pressures again next week to see if its leaked down and go from there.

I haven't checked the pressure with a gauge since we filled it but it's still blowing cold air. Although it stops coming out of the vents after a while. I have to shut the climate control off then back on and it works for a while. I'm assuming a vac leak somewhere.

Next question... Can the low pressure switch be replaced without venting the system?
