Hello- new to forum. As a previous owner of a 95 SHO, it gave me a sense of pride when my 16 year old started looking for his first car and found...
A 94 SHO- decent milage, good condition.... the problem is: the A/C Comp. needs to be replaced. I found several (for Price Purpose only) on Ebay. My question...the dealer who is selling the car will put a $$ value on the replacement.... What would a good educated guess be for the total job? Again, nothing in stone, this is all a neg. tool right now.
Thank You,
Al

$800 at a shop would be in the ball park.

Depends on whether the old compressor grenaded or not. If it did, the cost to repair will exceed the value of the rest of the car.

Right Now.... I am trying(allthough hard cause of the holiday) of getting the dealer to do the labor if I supply the Compressor... Also... Same car the moon roof switch is missing. Can I use any 12volt switch for testing purposes?
Thanks.

If it grenaded? what would happen, or how would me(layman) know it. The fan blows strong, but obviously no cold air. Really sorry to be an idiot.
Thank You,
Al
