I have one of each but with the "browz" you can't tell. At least no one has said anything for the last two years........ Even at a SHO car SHO. :thumb:

See my post explaining the differences in the "modifying headlights" thread.

While we are on the subject of headlights, what is a good method of restoring the clarity of the headlights,(other than the obvious solution of replacing them with new ones), anyone know of any good products for doing this that actually work?

As I mentioned in the other thread, the '99 headlights are coated differently -- I've never seen a '99 headlight turn yellow, or pit as badly as the '96-mid-'98 ones do.

All G3 Taurus headlights are interchangeable, there is no SHO-specific assy.

To clean headlights, get some very fine compound (3M with the blue Corvette on the label (NOT the red Vette)) about $4 at Walmart, and keep buffing and polishing. If you have really deep pits, wet sand with 800, 1200, and then 1600 grit sandpaper first, then polish with the compound.

On mine I used a bottle of plastic polish I got at Wal-Mart. Yellow bottle, pretty inexpensive. After a lot of elbow grease they look awesome!

NOTE - You will have to re-polish them every few months or so if you go this route.
