96 crank no start

I just bought a 96 sho it cranks over fine and strong but will not start I installed a new cam position sensor and crank sensor has 40 psi fuel pressure. Pulled out plugs and cleaned checked for spark has spark. No flashing pats lights. no engine codes need help

I think I have the same problem with my 97 SHO. but it sated up after a shot of starter fluid. Had to feather the gas to keep it running. Sounded pretty loud but no knocking so that was good. I think I gotta figure out how to access the cams to check for welds. But HOW can I tell if it's too late? It sat in a garage for the past 3 yesrs

You really should stop trying to run it at all until you find out if the cam sprockets have slipped. You are going to have to pull the valve covers and look. There are a bunch of articles and photos on V8SHO.com that can help you will all this. Take a look there.

crank sensor mine did the same thing i have a 97 has gone through 3 of them in 5 years
