I think I finally figured my electrical gremlins out.the red&green wire hooked into the small 10amp fuse is loose.if I wiggle that fuse car dies.so I unbolted it took off bottom cover ,started it again then wiggled the red&green wire attached to that fuse .the car died.the wire or fuse holder has play in it.how can I disassemble the fuse box without breaking it to do the repair?

buy a different fuse box from a j/y - as far as I know they are the same for all Taurus of the year.

I couldn't find a Taurus parts car today.so I took it apart carefully.then removed all fuses,removed yellow spacer/clip.pushed out wire with the loose connection.i used a small pic to stretch the connector& test fitted fuse.put it back together.started car,shook ,rattled,wiggled troubled 10amp fuse.car didn't sputter,or shut down.so I guess it's good.i drove it 10 miles over,bumps,high speed,got stuck in traffic.so far,so good.im out cruisin now.its always something with these cars!
