95ATX dies without warning running and idol

My 95 atx dies withouyt warning it started doing it at an idol then progressed to happening when pulling up to stop lights now it has done it when running down the interstate.... It gives you no warning, there is no pre heasatation it just dies. give it a few mins and it will usually start up agin. sometime there is a ruff idol when it starts but if you give it gas it clears up. I am thinking fuel filter.. I have had the codes checked and there are none..... Help is much appreciated. thank you.

i had a similiar problem at one time i replaced the IAC valve and it stopped.
