95 mtx wiring problem

95 mtx whats causing this short.(popping 10amp fuse)would the wire from starter or battery be bad? bad of starter where connections are.is loose.the battery cable causing this issue maybe.or wire from starter to fuse box?

Something is shorting to ground. The big wire from the battery to the solenoid is not your problem. Check your ignition switch if nothing around the starter looks bad. The ignition switches are known to go bad and melt.

accy feed or ign. its 10 amp.wire color is red with green stripe.i unbolted the underhood fuse box to check color of wire.if that helps describe it better.i wish i could find a written repair manual for this car.

Plenny on ebay , the Ford ones. Look for taurus manual (has the SLO and SHO in it)

Theres usually 2 books , the big one covers the mechanical , the small one has all the vacuum and electrical diagrams.

They are around 10$ each , and its the best purchase you will do.
