95 engine in 92?

After more that 200,000 hard LA miles, I twisted a rod bearing in my Blue92 MTX. I'm considering dropping a low miles '95 motor in. Anyone have any hints about this ? Motor is from east coast so I'm concerned about Cal smog. Could swap parts from my '92 motor. Any thoughts?

Should be fine if you can take the egr and related stuff to hook up. Why not look into a 3.2 from an atx? It's the same block and more ponies for you!
