'95 ATX Very Hard Shifting, no OD

Can this possibly be an electrical problem or it definitely in need of a rebuild? Trans does not slip. Anyone have a trans for sale? Good or rebuildable?
This is 2nd trans in 72k vehicle I bought at 62K.

This might be a shot in the dark, but have you checked to make sure that your VSS is connected and/or working? Also, do you know if the sensor was replaced or inspected during your last rebuild?
