94 SHO MTX problem!

I have a 94 MTX that just started acting up. Ill just be driving and when it gets to the point where its warmed up, i will loose my tach, so my rpms just die, and my check engine light will come on and my motor will stutter, sort of like its starving for fuel or something. At first when this started happening, id just shut it off and start it back up and it would run fine again. But now its to the point where it would just die randomly while driving and then start hard. Im thinking cam position sensor for my first guess. Let me know what you think..thanks

KYLE! lol i have riddin in this car when this problem occurs seems to only happen in 5th gear at cruising speeds. The whole car jumps jerks hard like the tranny is breaking then the tack dies and sometimes the car well die too. we have yet to pull the codes on this car but kyle has plenty of time seeing how he has no license i was leaning towards crank sensor or VSS...what do you guys think?

Hey pulled the codes got a 157, 214 what cha this, it has a brand new dis and coil pack, the other code is for a low maf or some shit and bad ground?

Have you replaced the crank sensor yet?

the only other thing I can think of is a dirty(as ****) MAF sensor. But I'll bet you one dollar it's the crank sensor.

That 214 code is the cam sensor code. trust me, my cam seal is leaking on my 95 atx and that is the only code I get.

Okay guys did the cam sensor...still is effed up..only seems to run bad at operating temperature. I have reason to believe that its the water pump dripping down on to the crank sensor when the car gets warm then causing it to short out????? If i sit there with when its running bad and hold the throttle at about 3000 rpm's the tach on the inside of the car well jump all around the place?

what cha think should i do a pump and sensor??
