BTW, you want some roughness to the intake plenum walls to promote turbulence that helps atomize the fuel. The exhaust ports can be polished to your hearts content though.


I disagree... Make them smooth as possible (Extrude Hone anyone?). You might make it rougher at the head, but there's plenty of turbulance in that intake and around the valve. I'd rather have a better than stock injector.
