i just picked up my second taurus but my first sho and it came with every possible option (including cd player) i popped a burned cd into it and it get making weird grinding sounds and it took my a few tries (like10 minutes worth) of pressing the power button, eject button and turning my car on and off to eject the cd. anyone know how to tell if the cd player is busted or if just wont play burned cds?
but they should play a burned cd as long as its not a mp3 cd. Does it make a clicking sound? IF so there are two little plungers i think that get gummed up that if you clean should fix your problem. Im not sure where exactly they are though, youll have to open it up and just clean it all out with some electronics cleaner and compressed air or something, or buy the one from my parts car I think it works but im not sure because it was never tested haha.
