94 ATX Starter....no noise whatsoevr

this morning i got in my car to go to my friends house, and i went to start my car, and it sounded wierd, like it would "bog" then jump in power, and then my car started. then when i got in to go back home, i turned the key and....NOTHING. i can hear one click right when i turn the key, then NOTHING. we tried a lot of things, theres no shorts or anything, the starter jsut wont move. did my starter just take a poo?

More than likely you have a connection problem gettin power to the starter. Clean your battery connections, and starter connections.

When it clicked you had no accessory power either??

sounds like a dead starter...pick up a new starter with lifetime warranty at your local Autozone. keep us posted.

i have power to everything, and theres power at the sylenoid terminals, but the starter wont crank.... how hard are starters to do on sho's? did on on a 86 iroc z-28 on tues, and it wanst very fun.....

Starter is on the front of the engine, and attaches with 3 bolts IIRC. There is also I want to say 2-3 wires that connect to the starter that need to be disconnected for starter removal.

Last time I did it was several years ago, but I believe it took me less than an hour.

i know where the starter is at, and i know how to do a starter, but is there any big space constrictions? i mean enough room for it to come out? i might be doing this later today.

are SHO's startersthe sam as other taurus starters?

Yeah...plenty of room
