15 year owner of this car. Everything done by me except alignment and I'm over 207,000. Link below shows the noise I hear between 1500 and 2000 rpm only. Don't hear it at idle or above 2000. It is a crank cancer survivor so I know that noise and the timing belt tensioner failed around 160,000 and replaced with a SHOSOURCE rebuilt tensioner and I know that noise and it doesn't sound like either. It does have original crank bearings(scold me here). Any input on this nois greatly appreciated-thought it was exhaust cam tensioner but seems to come from front of engine.

wow, that sounds awful. it could be a bad timing chain tensioner - have you listened to the top of the valve cover with a stethoscope or screwdriver?
