93 SHO headlight mounting ???how

I am replacing the headlights on my 1993 SHO due to the car having regular Taurus lights from a PO and they had an accident.
The SHO header panel I have has the standoffs mounted on it. How do reattach the SHO lights to the standoffs with out damaging them?.
The shop manual states the standoffs are attached to the light housings

Pics would be helpful here! What kind of fenders are on the car slo and sho are different same with the front bumper. If they are slo parts you will have to get a sho bumper and fenders.
