93 atx no radio

i just picked up a 93 atx and there is no sound coming from the radio! it lites up and the volume goes up and down just no sound! any help would be great thanks guys!!

just had the same issue. my car had the radio and cd player beneith it. i was missing the grey patch cable that ran from the radio to the cd player. i went to the junk yard yesterday and found one there and now it works great. i had to buy both new pieces though to get the cable included.

mine is there, i disconected the cd player and still no sound, there is power going into the silver amp and coming out into the sub, but i cant find any power going into the black amp. but if there is power coming out of the silver amp going into the sub wouldnt the sub still work alone??? need help guys!!!! getting annoyed driving around with no sounds!!!!!!!!

First thing I would say is check your fuses. Another thing to check is to turn the radio all the way up and see if you can hear anything coming out of the speakers. If you can hear a song/the radio ever so faintly, that means the radio is working, but the sound is not getting amplified.

turned the volume all the way up still no sound! checked the fuse under the hood in the 5th spot its good, i pulled all the fuses in the panel under the dash there all good, any fuses elswhere that i might have missed? by the way my airbag light flashes and the horn doesnt work, dont know if thats got anything to do with the radio not working? thanks for the help sp far!!!

Hey i would suggest swapping the radio out with a j/y one to test it.I would do it at the yard, tell them u want to make sure it works before u buy it.
