Ok, I changed the water pump, timing belt, and replaced the CPS. I set the timimg accordingly. All lines & notches lined up..

It will not start. For a split second it acts like it wants to if it sets a little while, but then nothing..I have the crossover tube connected. The only thing that is not connected is the other drive belts, and the timing belt covers..
I do have spark..
How can you pull the codes off these cars...?
Any fuse links that may be the cause?..
I'm at a loss....
Is there anyway that the timing can be off if the lines are right??

Make sure that the the DIS module is grounded to the intake. I know that if it is not, this could possibly cause the car not to start.
I assume that the car ran before the new parts were installed?

The lines are right with what? The index marks on the three pulleys or they are not right. You said the crossover tube was connected, but is the ground strap bolted to the passenger side rear intake bracket and are the two bolts torqued to secure the crossover tube to the front and rear plenums?

The EEC codes are set only for errors that effect emissions output. You can retrieve them from the info on the SHOtimes link below.

Ground strap.????....uh oh....I think that may be it....back in a sec..(edit) nope..not it..

The strap to the firewall...no It didnt come off..

The car was running three days ago..before the service..

The crossover is bolted, the timing was set with the lines w/the rear timing cover, notches and timing belt marks..and the crank was at about 5 o'clock...

Also, I can smell gas in the tailpipe...
