OK, finally back. Finally found a reputable repair technician who was able to get and read codes. Turned out to be the CPS and also needed a new timing belt and new seals. Fuel pressure was 10 psi, so needed a new fuel filter and also a new battery. Battery cables needed to be replaced as whoever had car before me didn't take proper care and cut and spliced old battery cables. Negative was connected to something it shouldn't have been. All told, to fix was approx. $1400.00. Will be picking up today. Hopefully all is well. Thanks to everybody who provided insight and knowledge into what the problem might be. You are right!!
Holy rape in the ass!!!
I could do a LOT of work on your car for way less than that.
If you don't have the means to do it yourself, you gotta bite the bullet.
It's all worth it when you take her for a ride and open those secondary's!
