This is a open track event. Show up and pay at the gate. Me and a couple friends are going out there to give it a go. I will post a update after the event.

do I have a target? Nobody I am going with has a car as slow as mine with the exception of a 2.0 jetta that is horribly underpowered. He did score a wicked set of R comps for the event. I am not sure If the car has enough power to heat them up which should be really entertaining.

As long as I don't break my car between now and then yes. I need a new wheel bearing in the RR and there is a clunk in the RR and RF I need to sort out. Pretty sure my strut mounts are clunking.

had one session with a half wet track but other than that it was dry. There was one big crash and one other guy that slid off into the tire wall. I gave the point by to a firebird that I had passed a few laps ago. He caught up to me really fast so he must have been warming up when I passed him. he passed me on the straight going into turn one and went right off the track at 1 hit a **** in the grass and caught 3-4 feet of air (I could see the bottom of his car so maybe more) landed hard then slid some more and plowed the tire wall went WAY up into the air again and came down on top of the wall. I don't know if he had total brake failure or what because his entry speed was ambitious to say the least. Drive was fine but his car had some body damage. I imagine frame/suspension damage as well because I don't think they were built with flying in mind. Other than those 2 issues I logged I think 140miles on course and rode with a bunch of people so I was happy with the event. I will probably go back next month with autointerest if funds allow.

As usual I surprised the **** out of a few people on course "A taurus should not handle that well" was mentioned by at least 2 passengers.

It was awesome!!! I got two of my friends one with a vette who has NEVER been on a road course and my roommate who has only ever been to one event. Both drove responsibly and didn't have any incidence but are hooked! I always enjoy seeing new people enjoy the expierence.

There is another event next month I want to go to. Oh my RR wheel bearing is shot now it is very noisy and i have a clunk in the RF and RR that sounds like strut mounts.
