Ok, so here is the issue. :corn:

The car idles just fine. When I put the car in gear, no matter what gear it is, I step down on the gas and at times (becomeing more frequent) I will get a slight hesitation, followed by a CE light, then I can step down on the gas all the way and it wont do anything. Suddenly it will kick on. The amount of time between the responce to the pedal differs every time, but thats what it does. I havent pulled the codes yet. I do know that once I get the car on the highway, for example, it seems to run perfect. Alot of the time, once it responds fully to the gas pedal, I can floor it and it will pick up just like normal.

Im hoping to get this fixed before Winter REALLY hit NYC. I need help with this one bad. Thanks in advance SHO bros and sisters:salute: ;-)

I'm taking a wild guess in assuming that it might be the TPS, but before you start hanging parts on it, check the codes.

First thing to do: Check codes. All you need is a paperclip and 10 minutes.

But seriously, there's so many things that it could be.. the codes should be your first step because otherwise you'll just be shotgunning part after part at it. =/

Like I said, I just havent done this yet. Mostly because I havent had time to find a 9 volt battery for my digital code reader that gets the job done in five minutes. I was guessing it could be the TPS, but I just wanted to get a sense of what everyone else MAY think it is.

If not TPS; also could be MAF sensor is in need of cleaning; mine did that same thing and some electronics cleaner applied to the filament solved the issue and zero problems since.
