I have an 89 SHO that bucks at low rpm and when i'm idling it will jump from 900 rpm to 1200, 1500, 2000 at any given time during warmup. The bucking is pretty violent and feels like it's causing some damage.
Please help.

Is this problem only happening when the car is warming up? Does the car seem like it wants to die when it happens? Has your tach ever gone to zero while still running?

Maybe it's an intermittent problem. Here's what happened yesterday.
I left work at 2pm. When i started the car it idled like ****, stalled a few times. After driving it, the car ran great, i took it to a mechanic he drove it, ran great, tonight i went out and the car ran perfect. Filled it with Sunoco Ultra, beats the **** out of me. When i picked it up Saturday it had a full tank of gas, must have been **** gas.
Thanks for the response.
