LOL at around the 17:30-ish mark.....

IDK....maybe we can JB Weld it?

Funny $h!t and great video.

Glad now that I never dumped into the GB on the coupler myself. I was tempted though. But again, glad I refrained.

They should update their lesson's learned page to include the ecoboost platform...

They have the b a l l s to blame everyone else but themselves first. There are tolerances and quality checks. Miss those two and well you'll manufacture S H I T. Then they cry because people complained. Just from that statement they posted, they will never receive a dime from me. Real shady.

Some exciting things to talk about. Received my Schwartz Engineered PTU brace today. It’s made from one solid piece of billet aluminum, can’t be more than 1lb. Has some heat shields to mitigate cooking the fluid. 19866D87 5AAB 4CC7 8BBE 5919A23DEBFB

Fitment is perfect 27C96376 089D 4797 9515 15CCFCFB91395C8CAA88 C650 4E42 8DC1 4CE797518BD3CB8CFC00 2F69 4EEA 805E FBB1A7E1A256

The passenger side axle is going to see some stress for sure with the Traction Concepts LSD conversion and this brace is an excellent match! Contact Aaron240 for more info!

Also received my XDI 2000cc injectors back from being flow tested and getting new seals. I sent my XDI60 along for the ride to get checked out too, both came back in new packaging and are ready to go! $270 from Xtreme-DI, feel free to reach out to them for all your fueling needs or to have anything flow tested! And btw, Uwe is pronounced Oova. Blew my mind. Lol! But now we can all pronounce his name correctly.A8E3C0EE 31DB 4E2E 9E81 C483AAF5CF5F

Well I’m putting turbos on pause and going to get this thing bagged on the ground with the exterior done to see what kind of crazy $hit I’ve got going on here.

Rear end is pretty much done, 2014 rdu with TC lsd, axles back in, Airtekk struts and bags in, need to run the air lines.AAA40E46 3424 4CD5 B85D E760900E4F569F1EEA9B 49A5 443E A59F 69765974797B
I decided to get new axles for the front, thinking I might snap one with the TC lsd in the front….then thought I might as well should start off with the new ones and if they snap I’ll have the originals as a quick replacement backup. So in the front is new axles, new 13+ steering knuckles with Timken wheel bearings, new front lower control arms, Airtekk air struts, Jordan’s 13 R1 Concepts Rotors, Aaron’s Wilwood kit. Need to run air lines for the front struts. 9BB2EBF3 7BE4 4D84 A4B0 E2A3F91117F6104B583C 9462 4101 861E 061F4805DC85
And I’ve got some custom made aluminum hub centric rings on so my 2” spacers done vibrate F20F9FC7 9926 46E6 9124 942A91553C91
I need to now do the passenger side axle, suspension, knuckle, wheel bearing and brakes. Then I’ll install my 13+ fuel bucket with 525 Walbro lpfp in 32C463A9 06EF 400F A4DF 8D9A00B1DB17
And then I’ll start installing my Airlift compressor/tank and management to Aaron’s aluminum backseat delete panel 0FA9D15E 48E7 4610 885C E225FDF366E9
And then give this thing some power to make it go up and down. And then finalize the fender flares and vents. 265D31AA CADD 4085 9CC6 D4A3CC9DFFB11A853FDD C681 471E 9F14 B2285F7416880D2CE208 1787 4920 8096 01D92463A07FPush it outside and put the front bumper on…..and get a glimpse of what the **** this thing is…….then I’m expecting to be so excited I’ll want to give it all I’ve got to get the motor in and get it running! 8BEFA9C9 6517 4D1B B857 DCE19CBA9B91
Ive been hung up on turbo placement and I’ve been super busy so I decided to get the exterior done for now. I might change my mind and go back to it but for now I feel like I’ve got a clear list of things I can do that I feel like I can actually do without hardly any problems.

**** yeah man, good progress. I feel you on getting stuck on certain parts of a project & getting frustrated/discouraged. Good move on working on something else & coming back to the turbos later. Just go full pro mod status with your turbo placement & run em' to the front bumper area, ahah.

It's like I said before man, you're doing things that most of us don't have the skill, time or money to attempt. You'll have her up and running down the track soon. Keep it going.

So, GF was away on a business trip so I was given full access to all hours of the night to make as much noise as I want. E3CFBB4C 3540 47EC AEC9 21A20D935BCE
Passenger side axle, knuckle, wheel bearing, suspension and brakes on. Shiny stuff 9C77ECAD 593E 4502 A58C 9F8994E5C3B4FB013253 7F44 4D2B 9442 588244E35B0D
I got the rear sway bar back on and the driveshaft out of a 2013 explorer put on. From leaving my driveshaft hanging off the ptu on the ground when I removed the RDU, it rested on part of the rubber boot on the PTU end and made a small cut in it. Lol oopsie.

Had to put one wheel on and damn is it thicc 607F9D2D 746D 4D68 8968 3250E92CF7DE0EECC5FE 7412 47BD BDA9 B207E68C4E50

Trans, axles, ptu, rdu, driveshaft, knuckles, wheel bearings, suspension and brakes are back on. The only old parts reused are the rear axles and rear knuckles. Rotors all the way around are Jordan’s and rear pads. The new (used) parts are the 2014 non pp trans, RDU and 2013 Explorer driveshaft.

Next up, lpfp swap, install Airlift 3P tank, compressor and management, vents…..then power it up and drop it down on all 4 wheels….to finalize fender flares I’ll need to work the suspension to find what the best placement is. Then fender flares install can be completed. Then will need to be removed and painted or wrapped.

Then it’s motor/turbo time. In the meantime I can install my injectors, msd coils and new oil, cam and crank sensors.

I did receive a CF trunk from Aaron and it certainly is lightweight and serves that WR purpose.BF1038BA E333 4F2A 8B4C A091A7BC83C3
I decided to take it a step further, I now have Nick Ashline, from VSC (Vermont Sportscar) the company that builds the USA Subaru Rally Cars, I know everyone knows Travis Pastrana? 35D9AD7E FF37 4489 B2A4 1FA90AA58B0B
Nick does composites for VSC and he has my OEM trunk and 1k deposit and he is working on making a beautiful piece to also have some sort of a spoiler/wing. Can’t wait to show you how that turns out! Nick is hoping to have it come in about 2k said and done but I said it is what it is. So I’ll be paying at least another 1k when it’s done. But it should look absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to see what else Nick can make for me. Here he is gluing flanges on getting it ready. Dang that tire is thick! Who needs the track when you bring the track with you hahaha. Brakes and everything look good. That CF stuff should offset a decent amount of weight I’d imagine.
