The 10-12 has the slip fit struts that are held into the knuckle through compression and take 6 hours to change, where the 13+ is a bolt on strut that mounts to the knuckle and can be swapped in 20 minutes with air tools.

Yup, by the time I was done with all the testing for my lift I could do a strut in 15 minute from jack up to setting it back down.

802, that engine looks gorgeous. I can't wait to see what it can do.

That better not be a armchair.
Lol well the track closes in ten days and it’s going to start snowing soon. She’s too cool for salt so I’m likely not going to do any data logs in the winter or have any traction. But it’s going to be a fun winter piecing her back together. I want to be at the track as soon as it opens….to catch the spring cold weather for 2022.

I think the heart of the ol’girl is about to finally come home! I’m supposed to get a full invoice Monday or Tuesday and once it’s paid, shipping will be arranged.

I had purchased some hub assemblies for the new 13+ knuckles that didn’t fit and after sending those back, I just received on Friday, the correct wheel bearing/hub assemblies, a new top trans Mount, and I bought two new front control arms. View attachment 82140

Not trying to hijack, what front control arms did you go with? The pic of the Moog you posted in my thread is supposedly for the 13+ cars. Will those work on the 10-12 cars?

They should fit. I must have forgot I was on their site as a 2013. I was buying 13+ steering knuckles, front wheel bearings/hubs and I got the front control arms too. I had to upgrade to the 13+ knuckles so I can attach my AirTekk struts. From what I understand, the only difference from the 10-12 knuckle to 13+ is the way the strut attaches. Should be fine.

My bad, I misunderstood your post, I thought you still had the 10-12 knuckles on your car. I'm tempted to try the 13+ Moog on mine but just don't want to get everything tore apart and have it not fit, or have an alignment issue or something like that . . .

I can check if it fits into my 2010 knuckle just before I remove them so you will know.

That would be great, it would at least solve part of the mystery. I'm just concerned something geometry-wise is different that would cause an alignment issue, like throwing the camber/caster/toe out of spec and not being able to correct it. I will say that I did find a 13+ Moog available in one of my warehouses through work so I ordered it in to take a look at it, lol. Maybe I'll try to dig up a tech number for Moog when I get back on Monday and see if I can get ahold of them and see what they say about it. Thanks.

My custom intake manifold. Cut open, ported, runner length reduced by roughly .500 for higher RPM potential, thus peak HP and top end potential increase. ProMeth direct port with 2.0gph nozzles (about 96cc) per cylinder with 1500cc pre TB running a pro meth solenoid to keep fluid where it needs to be. Running off Alky Control’s progressive controller and maybe I should use both my Alky pumps. B8D177B7 85E8 4556 88FC 21A89C7C22BB3582428C ACC8 4E89 AC71 64DD2588FAE0
