Can someone confirm if I have to use the dealership where I bought my car to take advantage of this warranty?

7 / 100 sounds like a Ford CPO warranty or maybe an ESP. Either one of those are good at any Ford dealer. Ask for an Oasis report at the service department. That should list any upgraded warranty the car has.

You can pay for an inspection and get the extended plan after the sale or purchase of a car. It doesn't have to be through the dealer either if memory serves me.

Certified pre owned warranty and an Extended Service Plans are different.

Not all used cars have an Extended warranty. You have to pay to play.

Best to talk to a dealership if you want a Ford ESP. There are different levels.

There are also other aftermarket warranties too.
