60K service

Hello all, Im new and a proud owner of a 93MTX, however im wanting to get the 60K service done along w/some other things, but I cant seem to find any mechanics who know the SHO engine, only ones who say they have worked on them, I want one who knows what he's looking for when the valves get adjusted...ALSO if/when the valves get adjusted should I go ahead and pay for new shims??? THANX

doesnt matter what kind of shims you buy so long as they are the proper thickness needed and not worn
