How can I tell if it's already been done? Who can I take it to do it? How many of these $$$$$$ is it? My 95 ATX only has 75K and runs great, but I don't want to neglect her needs.

there is only ONE place to take it....to our very own SDPATT who lives in Richardson and is one of the best in the country. You can contact him at [email protected]. The entire experience will be a learning one and also the most thorough job that can be done to your sho..people have come from IOWA to have him work on their shos. He simply will give your car the shop quality or higher with the tender care of a sho enthusiast. You can't go wrong with Scott...Contact him!!!

If you live anywhere near the DFW area, I wouldn't consider letting anyone but Scott do the work. It's a job that he knows well.

Couldn't agree more. It was well worth the 7 hour trip I took up to Richardson to get my 60K done.

Mr. Mike,

Your 3.2L SHO engine only requires the valve gapping and spark plug replacement at 60,000 mile intervals. The other major preventative maintenance service, the timing belt replacement, is performed at 100,000 mile intervals. There are a few parts that are easily accessed during the valve gapping service that can be replaced for only the cost of the part. They are the spark plug wires (Motorcraft WR-4033 (also fit the 3.2L) from FordPartsNetwork.com for $83.99+s&h) and the valve cover and plug well seals (Fel-Pro VS50378R from AutoZone.com for $71.99+s&h). The plug wires and seals I recommend replaced at 120,000 mile intervals, but if you have a spark misfire or any oil leakage into the spark plug wells, I recommend the failed part be replaced at the next valve gapping service. You can email me directly at [email protected] for the terms of the service.

Yes, I agree with Jerms, Martin, and the others. I, too, have a '95 ATX (with more miles) and Scott performed both the 60k and 100k services on my SHO. And I will gladly pay him to do them again in the future. He does EXCELLENT work and lets you sit and watch the whole process. WELL worth the $500 I spent for each service.

I'll try and post some scans of my 60k service sheets that Scott gave me. It's included in all his services and shows the level of detail that he pays to each and every SHO.

Yep Yep!! What they said..Excellent work.
DANG IT, MAN! I ENVY your intake! Lemme guess: more of Mike Danagher's work, eh? That color scheme is exactly what I thought about getting, only anodized with a lighter red.

What's up Adam? Yup. Mike's the man with the plan. I also got the valve covers powdercoated in the red color. Excellent work.

Ah! So you're the infamous Luis I've heard about. I didn't recognize your screen name.

Anyhow, excellent work there again, Mike. Will you have time to get the intake on before the run, Luis? I know Mike was slaving to get it done in time. :D

I was supposed to have installed it this past Monday but I had to do some home repairs to my mother's house so I didn't get a chance. I should have it on this weekend, though, and post a pic or 2. I wish I could make it to the run but the person I have been training here at work doesn't learn to quickly so I can't make it. Sorry, but maybe we'll have another Dallas meet soon.
Peaaaace!!
