I hope this isn't illegal TOS or anything by asking this or mentioning this seller, but I bid (or am buying) a 60K SHO how to DVD on Ebay from the seller drivinhard. It's supposed to take you through the process step by step for both the top and front of the engine.

I wasn't sure if this was a forum member that made this or not but wondered if anyone purchased this. If anyone has, how pleased were you with the instructions?

I am not mechanically inclined, and basically need something like this to hold my hand to get through it. I also have some help when I'm ready to look at my SHO, but I don't think he is familiar with these cars, so having this will be an added bonus. The advice on here is great, even pictures are great, but I'm one of those that has to be physically shown how to do something in order to be successful.

I bought the 60K VCR off of ebay a while ago, and it helped immensely. I really wasn't sure how to do it before and was pretty nervous, but after watching the tape I hammered it out in less than a day (if you don't count the time waiting for a crank seal) with no problems that the tape didn't cover. I know drivinhard is a member of the forum. I want to say it's don donelson on the tape? I can't remember, but he's a SHO legend. He looks very, very young on the tape!

I figure if I'm going to have help diagnosing my engine rattle, I might as well get this and see if anything else needs to be done. I have no idea if a 60k was done to my car so I might as well look at things while I'm in there. I hope I don't need a Rotunda kit but we'll see.

Drivinhard is Mark Nunnally.
He is the guy on the video as well as the creator.
He also runs RCM, a SHO parts supplier.

Yeah, Mark! I knew it was one of those dudes that have been around forever. He looks like he's 17 in the video . I thought Russ McCoy ran RCM?

If the one you're getting is the same as the one from SHOnut performance, than that video is awesome. I thought it was going to be a really corny home-made thing but it is actually very well done. It is easy to see what they are talking about and they explain most of the stuff so that nearly anyone can do it. The only part I didn't like is they showed the entire front 60k portion on a engine that was outside of the car which doesn't help much when you need to know what to remove to get in such a tight space.

Yes, it is Mark Nunnally that made and is selling the video. I've never seen it, but I've heard that it can be very helpful. There's also one on doing a clutch job. SHONut sells the same videos.

Mark Nunnally is not affiliated with RCM as far as I know. RCM is run by a guy by the name of Russ, but I can't remember his last name (McCoy?).

Mark doesn't have anything to do with RCM. He did or does video production and the 60k and clutch videos are very well done.

I may be wrong, won't be the first time.
I rec'd Emails from Mark, but that may have been when RCM first started.
Can anyone solve this mystery?

If Mark was a part of RCM wouldn't he sell it on the RCM site and not SHONUT? My middle name is Mark, and I can confirm I don't work at RCM! :nut:

Russ has other family members that work there and respond to email IIRC. What was Mark's last name? Lots of Marks out there. RCM is is PA. drivinhard is in GA (or was last I checked long ago)

Myself and Josh T originally did the 60k, Quaife, and Clutch video's years ago (yeah I was young, and skinny, lol).

I don't work for RCM :)

Just curious (not to hijack the thread)...what would be the most helpful how to DVD on the SHO (that's not done already?) Suspension? Brakes? Engine Rebuild?

Auto Trans Rebuilding, or the more likely Engine Rebuilding.
Suspension and Brakes are pretty shade-tree easy.
TwEECer Tuning would be nice but it would also be a heavy topic to organize on video.

I've been thinking about grabbing one of these 60k DVDS's. I won't be needing another 60k for a while, but the DVD might come in handy for other things.
