Is it necessary to have all four in there?
I have three of the four screws affixing my DIS module on both cars, and on one car it works great, and on the other, problems. Could this be an issue???
The one missing in both cases in the LOWER RIGHT screw, when looking at the mounted module from the side.

Must have all screws for proper grounding and heat transfer.

Is the fourth screw missing or sheared off inside the hole? If missing, just remove one of the good ones and find a match. If broken, drill out the old one, retap and plant another screw in the new threads.

No, its missing altogether. It just struck me today that that may be the root of my DIS related problems in the red car, but then again, why would the silver car run just fine with only 3 screws in the DIS??

At any rate, I took the red car back to my mechanic today to have it saftied, and also told him to try and find me a used DIS. He's pretty good at getting me used parts, **** he had four different X2J PCM's in the car until he got one that worked properly. (of course he had the car for about 3mths!!!)
