Recently ran all the codes getting 332 code egr. Followed past posts and directins of scott and some other people and puled throtle body and cleared the very nasty pluged nostrils in the intake. I also puled the egr off and blew air threw the port on the intake, everything seemed clear and fine. I put everything back together and car ran good I did the vacume check and the egr diaphram moved and the engine sputtered. I then cleared the codes and while driving I still get a c.e. light and code 332 on hoeo&koer tests. I went to parts store and they were no help on gettig an egr sensor. Can any one tell me a part# and poss how and where to change this part If you think thats my prob.

fasteddie,

I emailed you a document describing ford EGR diagnosis that ProjectSHO89 gave me a link to in a previous post somewhere. Couldn't find the link because the search engine is broken for digging up my old posts (and ProjectSHO89's doh!) So I just sent you the file.

Hope it helps.

The DPFE sensor is mounted on the rear of the intake manifold.

It has an electrical connector on one end, and two ports on the bottom that are connected to the EGR sample tubes via short rubber hoses.

In order to test the DPFE sensor, you would need a vacuum guage and a voltmeter. The procedure is posted in my original post at http://www.shoforum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=001516#000008 from back in April.

Parts source and pricing are in that post. It looks like this: http://www.partsamerica.com/PartDetails.asp?SourceArea=&SourcePage=SEARCHRESULTS&CategoryCode=&QueryID=1364604&QueryCounter=2&BeginRecord=1&EndRecord=25&PreviousPage=PartTypes&Last Record=25&TopLevelCategoryCode=&TopLevelCatDesc=&PartType=289&UnitPrice=49%2E99&MfrCode=nie&MfrPartNumber=FE%2D5001++++++++&ProductDescription=FE5001+NIEHOFF+EGR+PRESS%2E+FEED+++++ &ShipmentRestriction=2++&Quantity=1&Weight=0%2E5&HandlingCost=0&CoreCharge=0&StoreCount=0&DcCount=1&HomeDelCount=0&SoItemFlag=1&ShipRestrictionCode=2++&SearchFor=EGR+Valve+Position +Sensor&AppliedDiscount=0&SpecialType=

Yeah, yeah, that's one heck of a long URL. If you don't like it, do the search yourself. :D
