Hey guys...

Due to lack of availability at the time, I couldn't replace the timing belt when I did my waterpump on the 94 in october. That said, I am familiar with the timing belt system on the 3.2L.

Keeping in mind I did a search and came up with some results, my question is this:

When I replace the timing belt in a week or so, do I need to reset the tension of the pully, or can I get away with simply removing and replacing the tensioner itself?

TIA

cheers

Just remove and replace the tensioner with the piston compressed. Don't touch the bolt on the pulley at all and you'll do just fine!
