I am running now on 3.2 computer. When I start the engine acts like high in timing. [unsure what causes this unless lack of the SHO auto wiring] All the SHO trans wires are empty pins on computer. [Using different trans]. Naturally the check engine light is on. So I am considering repinning for the 3.0 computer but got a couple questions.
Got a LOS 3.0 computer. Assuning correct computer was in SHO manual trans car. I assume correct?
What year wiring diagram to use or all the same?
I notice two wires to cruise control servo. Is it needed and what is purpose?
Two wires to clockspring assy. What is there purpose and what to do with them?
That is my thoughts. I now got time to work on the car. And work is slowing down. Thanks again Maurice

you can run the 3.2 computer on a manual trans application. as you mentioned, you will have the cel because it doesn't see the trans, but it will run fine.

however, you need to convince the pcm that the trans is both in neutral (to allow start) and in drive (to allow revs over 4000 rpm) at the same time.

if the cam timing is off even one tooth, you can get the symptoms you describe.

I thought I lined up the marks on the pullies and belt for timing correctly. I can double check tho. Second thought can a slow starter act like high timing? Can a person check the the timing on a 3.2 by timing light and check it? I don't have video on how it is acting but will get one posted. Thanks for all the help and advice. Maurice

yes, you can check w/ a timing light - pull the spout connector and it will stay at 10* and you can read that on the front pulley.

L0S computer is for MY1991.

FWIW, I can write a program to one of our SCT chips to allow free revving with no ATX.

If the starter tries to bind (like a Cleveland with too much base timing) is most likely from the CID sensor. It's either not set right or not plugged in. The engine will start without the CID, but it won't be happy. Pull the codes before you try anything else. A code 214 is CID failure.
