Thanks for the laugh.I needed it. The 94 atx only had 73k on it,but the owner selling the car said those light rapping/knocking sounds from the top of the engine were the injectors firing. yeah,right. To make matters worse,seals were leaking all over the front of the block for probably years,and the leaking oil refreshed itself when I wiped the area clean and took the car for a fast spin one exit down the expressway;then back. This,I believe would hamper oil pressure and allow future problems and premature wear.
I understand that the 3.2 should be relatively smooth to the ear while at idle.What I heard was not clicking.
