3.0sho,3.0rwd,2.9rwd same bell?

I'm getting ready to put my spare 3.0 in a 4wd ranger. I know that the bellhousing from a 3.0 aerostar will work therefore so should any trans from a 3.0 powered ranger(not sure what years were so equiped) My father has a 99 2wd ranger with a 3.0. What I need to know is a 2.9 bell the same as a 3.0. the ranger was a 2.9, sure would be convient not have to have to change trans as well. What flywheel, clutch, pressureplate combo do you guys think will work?

if im not mistaken the 2.9 bell is hte same as the SHO so everything hsould be in good shape... i think input shafts are different tho
