3.0 vs. 3.2 PCM

I'm going to put the 3.0L PCM in my ATX to MTX swap car, and I want to retain the ATX fuel pump and fans. I had a few questions to make sure this is going to work:

I think the 3.0L PCM is programmed to run the fuel pump at two speeds (hi/low), and that the 3.2L PCM runs the fuel pump 'hi' all the time. Is this correct? Are the fuel pumps physically the same?

Along the same lines, the 3.2L PCM can run the cooling fans at two speeds, while the 3.0L PCM only uses one speed (high). Hypothetically, would there be any problem running the ATX fans single speed (high) only?

TIA-

Nate

Hey nate thank you again for the wiring diagrams you e-mailed me way back when i was building my 3.2 mtx. It all worked out great and i'm verry happy with the information available.

Quick questions how come you are switching over to the 3.0 pcm?

The car's still running fine with the D4U1 PCM, I just want to compare how it runs with the MTX computer. I'm trying to do this in a way that leaves the original 3.2L harness intact so that I can go back to the D4U1 if I need to. I've got some ideas that shouldn't be too hard to implement.

lol sounds like a good idea since right now im taking all the wiring harnesses outta my 92 mtx and putting them in my 93 atx since im making the 93 a mtx car i figured i want it all to work with no CEL flashing or other problems so might as well swap them all over.
its an insane amount of work taking all the wiring harnesses out from the dash and under the hood and now i gotta take them all outta my 93 and put the 92 in...
