BTw, there were some 1992-1995's with digital dashes. Both Flex Fuel, and Not. If I find some, I'll post, but I know for a FACT that there was, and there is even the correct dashboard trim for them.

You could call Ford and ask, they can change the mileage (I would really like to know how) but I don't know if they would on a used head.Hey, this digidash thing is something I'd like to do to my '95, but I was wondering if there's anyway to correct the odometer during the swap?
Either PM me or e-mail me a price, I could use one to experiment on, plus I could really use the dash trim.i got a digi das in my 90 lx anyone want it?...all gauges except the idiot lights are digi...let me know i need to get ride of the parts fast and will to let em go cheap
I think mine will go that far (never had a chance to go that fast) I have had it up to 109 before though. Theres really nothing you can do about the tach, it acurate up to around 6800-7000 RPM but thats as far as it goes (Vulcans usually die way before 7k anywayWill that digital dash go all the way to 143? I would love to see a shot of that! Take it down a long smooth fairly steep hill and see how far it will go up.
Also, can you do anything about the redline? Maybe expand it or something(not a clue about this kindda stuff)
I would LOVE to see that, I have only ever seen 2nd gen Sables with digital clusters. That trim piece would be a rare object.BTw, there were some 1992-1995's with digital dashes. I have always liked the way a digital dash looks, it matches the rest of the displays in the car better also. I don't think it would "flow" as well in a newer car but since mine is a '90 and the trend was as "high tech" as possable I think it matches nicely. It also looks really good at night, it gives the car a nice blue/green glowImpressive job. What made you decide to make the change?
My thoughts exactly. It blends so well, and plus seeing that the SHO is the top of the line model, why not have have the top of the line interior to go with it. Everything else in the interior had the digital look to it except for the cluster. Now it all matches. Plus I like looking at it when I'm driving, and I think to myself, "yup, I put that in." That's one reason I won't get rid of this car. I can play around and mod things to my liking and doesn't cost much, and it justs "adds" to the car. I like it.jelloslug:

Nope, Windstar. Which, especially since the electronics don't change from 3.0 to 3.8 in the Taurus, and the Windstar is (was) available with both engines also, the VSS should be the same. Plus, the clusters (well, most of them) interchange between both cars. ****, they are the same platform, just different bodies (well, not quite, but they are based on each other). I'll keep posted.jelloslug:
Nice, is that from a Crown Vic? You might have a problem with the tach if it's for a V8, or you might not, just give it a try!
Yeah, you like the digital clusters, doncha.Slo-Sho:
The Windstar dash looks phenomenal! *rusty wheels starting to turn in head....*
I guess the only way to find out is to have Jelloslug take his SHO upto 130 and see if it climbs that high. winkSHOck:
I've seen a digital dash in a gen2 sable that stopped at 110 (or maybe it was 120). I don't know if they all did through the years or not.
Jelloslug stated earlier that he's had his to 109 so far.SHOman247:
from what i heard the digi dash only goes to 99 then does some weird stuff above a hundred...not real sure but that's what i was told
