Is it reasonably safe to remove both front wheels and bolt the lug nuts back on to hold the rotors in place and mash the go-pedal?

the digital dash was available in 86. my moms Taurus LX had one, we hated it.jelloslug:
OK, here is a list of vehicals that you can get the correct digital dash from:
90-91 Taurus
90-95 Sable
All clusters from the above cars are the same, and the cluster will bolt in (you still have to do the wiring changes). If you are doing the swap on 90-91 1st gen and you get the trim from a 90-91 Taurus it will snap in (it has fake wood on it though, but you can swap the metal overlay). If you are doing the swap on a 2nd gen you will have to fab the button holder since I have not found any evidence that there ever was a 2nd gen Taurus digital car. The tutorial will be up soon!
Yea, the 86-88 Taurus/Sables had a digital option but it won't fit the 90-95 cars (and it is kinda ugly)the digital dash was available in 86. my moms Taurus LX had one, we hated it.
