who and why did thr hood catagory close.
im not upset just trying to get feedback so i can figrure if its worth talking to an aftermarket company.

It was locked/closed/moved because it was the beginning of an UNAUTHORIZED Group buy. All group buys must be run through Greg R. and must done through Forum sponsors. Have a nice day.

Yes,it was locked by Greg because all group buys must be ok`ed by him in advance.The only exception to this rule is the official SHOForum sponsors(NESS,IPT,TCE,ShoNut,SHO Quality).

You have a very worthwhile idea,so please don`t let it go.Talk with them about a possible group buy,and get with Greg in the meantime.By all means let us know when you get the approval to post it here.

Jeremy, I must have missed something about this rule. I don't want to cause a stink but I am curious as to how this came to be. Most of us are just SHO enthusiasts bouncing ideas around. It seems that since this car isn't in production and has a limited following, innovation from members is the only way to get any new products. Again, I'm sure there's some good reason for this but isn't there a way to balance this out? Just curious.

All the rules involving buying/selling transactions became neccessary after a big incedent between forum members.Most people will remember who it is,and the entire fiasco.Just get the ok from Greg,and go ahead full steam.It`s just for the protection of all the members because a few deals have gone wrong.

Do not let the idea go,just go thru the proper channels.Some of the TCCA peeps might remember this,there was a company(i think it was called MRE?)that was willing to build hoods for $400.Does anyone remember this,and have some info?
